About Alexander

Alex started his journey with Dierks+Company as a research assistant during finalization of his first state exam. Polish and German are his native languages. Additionally, he is fluent in English, reached the Latinum (qualification in Latin) and has basic knowledge in Russian.

Within his law studies he got interested in contract law in the broad sense. At the university he learned about contract theory, private international law and Code of Conduct of German Lawyers. Additionally, he gained knowledge about access to justice and its importance and implications for a welfare state under the rule of law. Although studying in Berlin he wanted to learn about healthcare and life-science law. Because of that he obtained an extracurricular certificate in these fields at the university in Marburg. Alex especially got interested in the field of drug law, law of medicinal products and the law of German statutory health insurance doctors. Furthermore, he broadened his interests at Compliance implications on the healthcare and life-science sector.

Alongside his studies he worked for other four years for a German healthcare and life-science boutique. During that time, he started to understand the practical needs of advising in those industries. Because of his experiences he wants to pursue a Ph.D. in Global Health Law. Nonetheless the practical part of the legal profession is important to him too, so he is eager to advise on the transformation of healthcare.
